Skyline & Streets is an independent travel guide. This page explains what happens to your information when you visit.
What we collect
This site does not ask you for personal information. There are no accounts, no newsletter, and comments are turned off.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested. These usually include an IP address, browser type, and the page requested. They keep the site running and secure. They are not used to identify you.
Cookies
Cookies are used only where they are needed to make pages load correctly and quickly. They are not used to build a profile of you or to target advertising.
Analytics
This site currently uses no analytics or visitor tracking.
Links to other sites
Guides here link to official sources such as the National Park Service, the MTA, NYC Parks, and the websites of individual museums and attractions. Once you follow a link you are on that organization’s site, and their privacy policy applies instead of this one.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site. No attraction, museum, restaurant, or ticket seller pays to appear here.
If you email us, the message is kept so we can reply and, where it is a correction, so we can act on it. Your address is not added to any list and is not shared.
Your rights
Data protection law in some countries gives you rights over information held about you, including the right to ask what is held and to ask for it to be deleted. To exercise those rights, contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
